Joanne demonstrates strong leadership skills by having successfully managed and developed private case management services which met the needs of clients and leading law firms.

Joanne has a particular interest in providing ongoing rehabilitation, care and support for clients with enduring and complex conditions. As such, she is dedicated to creating and managing a flexible and bespoke case management service at North Star that maximises client choice and independence.

Dawn is a skilled and experienced business manager with a professional background that spans various industries, including motorsport and private clinical case management.

The efficient operation of North Star is paramount to underpinning our work with clients, and Dawn's contribution in this regard is pivotal. Dawn leads the business administration team, a group of committed professionals who guarantee the company has the necessary resources to support the case managers in providing a high quality, personalised service.

Dawn works collaboratively and she continuously reviews operational strategies to implement business change that optimises the service and is beneficial to our clients.

Jo Renshaw

Registered Manager

Jo’s responsibility as Registered Manager is to ensure our clients receive safe, high quality, person-centred care.

With practical experience of supporting young people with health conditions, such as cerebral palsy and brain injury, in both educational and community settings, Jo decided to train and then qualified as a social worker. She also worked as a case manager for two prominent case management companies. In 2017, she transitioned to health and social care education and trained support workers in essential care skills.

Jo now leads our quality assurance team, ensuring all client care adheres to CQC standards and internal policies, thereby ensuring it is safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.
